Product Detail

Prime Studio Charleston is an amazing analog summing device. It's designed based on various daily - used analog devices at Prime Studio. You can freely adjust the low - shelf and high - shelf equalizers to add a smooth touch to your tracks. There are two different 'drive' sounds for you to choose from. Use the Mix knob to blend the harmonic distortion with the original signal. You can even disable the preamp sound for more flexible track summing. The Magic Eye shows the effect intensity, and the Over LED warns if your input signal is too strong. Two separate faders let you fine - tune the left and right channels. System requirements include a dual CPU or better, Windows 7 or higher (64 - bit only), macOS 10.9 - 10.14, 8 GB RAM or more, 500MB disk space, 1024x768 screen resolution or higher, and a VST2/AU/AAX Compatible 64 - bit audio host (Pro Tools 11 or higher for AAX). Note that OS X 10.15 Catalina is not supported currently.

Using Prime Studio Charleston is easy. First, make sure your system meets the requirements. Once set up, you can start by adjusting the low - shelf and high - shelf equalizers according to your track's needs. If you want a different sound, choose from the two 'drive' options and use the Mix knob to blend in the harmonic distortion. You can turn off the preamp sound if you want more flexibility. Keep an eye on the Magic Eye to see the effect intensity and the Over LED to avoid over - hot input signals. For fine - tuning, use the two separate faders for the left and right channels. As for maintenance, keep your system updated to ensure smooth operation. And remember, OS X 10.15 Catalina is not supported, so don't try to run it on this system.
