Product Detail

Sonarworks SoundID Reference for Headphones is a revolutionary software that offers consistently accurate studio reference sound on your existing headphones. It comes with presets of over 280 headphone calibration profiles. Once a profile is applied, the software flattens the frequency response across all audible frequencies, mimicking the sound of neutral - sounding speakers. This allows you to effortlessly switch between speakers, headphones, and rooms, enjoying a flat and consistent sound wherever you are. The software has many great features, including calibration profiles for 280+ supported models, real - time target curve adjustments, translation check for accurate mix results on 20+ devices, 3 filter modes, additional DSP processing controls, MIDI mapping, and user presets. It includes the SoundID Reference app, DAW plugin (AU, VST, AAX), averaged profiles for 280+ headphones, and an activation key for 3 - machine use. System requirements are MacOS 10.12 or later (Intel only currently) and Windows 8 or later (64 - bit), along with Sonarworks supported or individually calibrated headphones.

Using Sonarworks SoundID Reference for Headphones is easy. First, make sure your computer meets the system requirements. Install the SoundID Reference app and the DAW plugin if you need it. Then, choose the calibration profile for your headphone model from the over 280 available presets. You can also adjust the target curve in real - time for a custom sound. When using the translation check feature, select the devices you want to simulate to ensure your mix sounds great everywhere. Regarding the filter modes, try out Zero Latency, Mixed, and Linear Phase to see which one suits your needs best. For the additional DSP processing controls, feel free to play around with Mono, Dry/Wet, and Safe Headroom. Remember, you can use the MIDI mapping and user presets in the app to control and switch between settings quickly. As for maintenance, keep your software updated to the latest version. If you're using it on multiple machines, make sure not to exceed the 3 - machine limit specified by the activation key. Also, if you have any issues with your Sonarworks - supported headphones, check with Sonarworks for calibration and troubleshooting advice.
