Effortlessly Remove Breath Noises from Vocals and Narration
Vocalists and narrators often breathe, which can ruin a great recording!
Manually editing each breathing or inhale sound with fades or filters takes ages.
DeBreath saves your time by separating breaths from vocals or spoken words. You have full control over the amount of breathing on your vocal track and how it's processed.
Match the inhales to DeBreath’s breath profiles. Then adjust the automatic settings to completely remove inhales or keep as much as you like.

Using Waves DeBreath is a breeze. First, import your vocal or narration recording. Then, match the inhales in your audio to DeBreath’s breath profiles. After that, you can start adjusting the settings. If you want to get rid of all the inhales, optimize the automatic settings accordingly. Or, if you want to keep some breathing sounds, just leave them in. You can control the amount of inhale reduction with the slider. Also, use the dual displays to easily optimize settings for the breath and voice paths. When you remove breaths, you might end up with some silence. To fill that, just enable Room Tone. For the crossfade, you can set it anywhere from 0.1 to 200 ms. And you can easily monitor either just the voice or just the breath. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure it works smoothly. When you're not using it, just close the program properly. Remember, don't overload the software with extremely large or complex audio files all at once, as it might slow down the processing.
