This is an official Jensen IR library built on the C12/70 EL 'Electric Lightning' 12 AlNiCo speaker. The Electric Lightning speaker has a modern and authoritative voice. It features punchy and fast bass, extended highs, and a slightly throaty midrange. It can effectively cover the'super cleans' and'super overdrive' tones in contemporary pop and rock music, and even works well in extreme hi - gain, detuned, or baritone applications. Due to the extreme versatility of the EL 12/70, the capturing process covered all possible uses, from compact cabs (Open, Closed, and Ported) to larger 2x12 Open and Closed Back, and the powerful 4x12 Closed Back, with 18 mics in 16 positions each. This library is designed for TH - U Supercabinet. It enables you to graphically browse the IRs, blend them, create new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode, use the IR in the software, and export the IRs in.wav format, which is compatible with software IR loaders and major hardware modelers. During the capturing, 18 types of microphones were used. Each microphone was placed in 4 horizontal positions, two distances, and two angulations, resulting in 16 IRs per mic. All measurements were repeated for each cabinet in the library. All IRs are phase - aligned and can be blended without phase cancellations. The system requirements include Overloud TH - U Premium, Rock, Metal, or Funk and R&B, MacOS 10.7 Lion or above, Windows Vista or above, an Intel Core i3 1.4GHz CPU or better, 4GB RAM or more, and a 1200x800 screen resolution or higher. The plugin formats are AAX Native, AU, VST2, and Standalone (all 32 and 64 - bit) for Mac, and AAX Native, VST2 (all 32 and 64 - bit) for Windows. You can authorize up to three of your computers and one USB stick with a simple one - click software procedure, no hardware key required.
Using this Overloud SuperCabinet Library is quite easy. First, make sure your system meets the requirements like having the right version of Overloud TH - U and the proper operating system. Install the library on your computer. When you open the TH - U Supercabinet, you can graphically browse through the IRs in the library. You can blend different IRs together to create unique tones.
