Product Detail
The Rob Papen RG is an extraordinary groove plug - in that goes way beyond being just a 'virtual Rhythm Guitar player'. With its onboard sequencer, you can craft classic Rhythm Guitar grooves. But the real fun starts when you tap into its synthesizer features and effects to create brand - new, edgy guitar grooves. It uses a keyboard layout of'major chords' and'minor chords', each having two sequence patterns (A or B). Just hit a single note in the major or minor keyboard range, and the groove plays. The clean - sampled guitar sound sets offer great freedom and flexibility when using the synthesizer features and effects. There are also Power Chord, Distorted, and Muted guitar sound banks that can sequence A and B without major or minor ranges. The included guitar types are diverse, like the classic Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, different types of Steel String acoustic guitars, a Power Chord groove type Distorted guitar, and Muted Low and High groove type guitars. The synthesizer part has a classic analog - modeled filter, LFO, envelopes, and a modulation section. You can use up to 3 effects at a time in the effect section, including midi time - based delays, chorus, speaker simulators, phaser, flanger, etc. There are over 1000 presets, with 850 'RG' grooves and 300 'basic' grooves. System requirements include Windows 7 - 10 (32 & 64 bit VST and 64 bits AAX Native for PT 12 or higher) and Mac OSX 10.9 - 10.15 (64 bit AU, VST, and AAX Native), and it's compatible with the Native Instruments NKS.
