Unearthed Sampling Sawmonium

Sawmonium offers 10 distinct Kontakt patches with a cinematic sound perfect for horror, quirky, or mysterious themes. Unearthed used a cello bow on wood saws and hacksaws to craft strange and unique FX sounds, reminiscent of Jerry Goldsmith's 60s and 70s scores. The bow also helped create usable tonal staccatos, creepy growls, and a patch inspired by Zimmer's Joker motif from The Dark Knight. Everyday tools like a basic woodsaw, small mitre back saw, and hacksaw hold musical awesomeness. By using a cello bow and hitting them with mallets, rattans, and sticks, we unlocked their potential. The bowed sustains patch is tuned and loops, sounding like a gritty glass harmonica or a melodic percussion instrument and is highly playable. Similar to AMP, this release has a robust GUI with pitch control, attack/delay control, EQ control, and 13 selectable custom impulse responses right on the GUI.

Using Sawmonium is easy. First, open the Kontakt player and load the Sawmonium patches. You can use the GUI to adjust settings like pitch, attack, delay, and EQ to get the sound you want. You can also select from 13 custom impulse responses on the GUI. When playing, try different ways of using the bowed sustains patch, like changing the attack to get different sounds. Be gentle when using the patches to avoid any sudden harsh noises. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure smooth performance. There aren't any special cleaning or storage requirements since it's a digital product.
