Product Detail

Revitalize your guitar amp simulations and cabinet impulse responses with IRDX Core. This unique plugin doesn't load impulse responses but adds natural speaker dynamics when placed after any amp sim or IR loader. Unlike static IRs, real - life guitar speakers are dynamic and non - linear, and IRDX Core emulates these non - linearities. In any major DAW, launch IRDX Core right after an IR loader or guitar amp simulation with a speaker cab model. Note that Bogren Digital's own amp sim plugins already have IRDX technology built - in. Most of the time, no adjustments are needed in the plugin. You can use automatic input calibration for a more natural response. IRDX Core offers two modes: 'Normal' for subtle effects and 'Intense' for more noticeable ones. Once activated, it makes your guitar sound more dynamic, adding width and excitement to tracks and helping guitars blend better with other instruments.

Using IRDX Core is quite straightforward. In your major DAW, find an insert slot right after an IR loader plugin or a guitar amp simulation that has a speaker cab model. Then, launch the IRDX Core plugin there. But remember, if you're using a Bogren Digital amp sim plugin, you don't need to add IRDX Core because it already has the technology built - in. Usually, you don't have to make any adjustments in the IRDX Core plugin. However, if you want the most natural response, use the automatic input calibration. It will listen to your guitar signal and set a good input level. There are two modes to choose from: 'Normal' gives you subtle speaker movement, compression, and distortion, while 'Intense' makes these effects more obvious. Listen to both and pick the one that suits your music. As for maintenance, since it's a software plugin, just keep your DAW and the plugin updated to ensure it works smoothly.
