The Kuassa Amplifikation Lancaster is the fourth gem in our guitar amp simulator lineup, powered by our 3rd - generation modeling tech. Inspired by Vox combo amps, it offers guitarists a satisfying, dynamic, and natural - sounding amp recording experience through its 3rd gen Tube Simulation engine. It supports VST/VST3/AU/AAX audio plugins, compatible with all Digital Audio Workstation softwares. You can choose between the standalone and Amplifikation 360 modules versions. It captures the charm of British chime and jangly sounds. We've recreated the original tones of Vox Amplifiers over the decades, making 70’s, 90’s, and late 2000’s sounds accessible. A parallel signal path similar to the jumpered - mod gives it extra mojo. There's also a treble booster pedal FX for a modern touch. The Vox AC30, known for its bell - like chime and bright jangly sound, influenced the British music movement. We've compiled three of its most distinct tones into the Amplifikation Lancaster. Using the Kuassa Amplifikation Lancaster is a breeze. First, make sure your system meets the requirements: Mac users need MacOS 10.7 Lion or above (Intel only), and Windows users need Vista or above (32 or 64 bit), a Core 2 Duo / AMD Phenom II CPU or better, and at least 4GB of RAM. Install the plugin in your Digital Audio Workstation software. It supports AAX Native, AU, VST2, VST3, and also has a standalone version. Once installed, you can start exploring the different amp types. Choose between Lancaster A for that early - breaking and raw sound, Lancaster B for a fat and compressed tone, or Lancaster C for a clean and jangly sound. Adjust the settings like the treble booster, filters, and miking configurations to get your desired sound. When using the parallel signal paths, you can combine the normal and top boost channels for extra character. Remember to use the built - in noise gate and limiter to keep your sound clean.
