Product Detail

The XILS Lab Chor'X combines four vintage chorus effects, based on Bucket - Brigade Delay (BBD) emulation and a True Stereo Dynamic Spatializer. It's a breeze to add space, depth, and new dimensions to your instruments and create complex, fascinating mixes. The Legacy/Advanced feature speeds up your workflow. In Legacy mode, it's simple: pick your model and adjust the stereo output for more space. If you need more control, hit the Advanced button for extra parameters. The four Chor'X modes (Synthex, CS - 80, Dim - D, and V+ 330) are modeled after classic chorus units, allowing you to create effects from smooth to wild. The True Stereo Dynamic Engine lets you precisely position signals in a stereo image. The Chor'X won't damage your instrument's low end, and the special Dry tool treats percussive material, adding chorus only to the tail. With dynamic modulation, you can add automatic changes to the rate and amount of BB Delay lines. All these features come in an intuitive UI with 2D pads for precise parameter tuning and instant visual feedback.

Using the XILS Lab Chor'X is easy. First, decide whether you want to use the Legacy or Advanced mode. In Legacy mode, just select your preferred chorus model from the available four (Synthex, CS - 80, Dim - D, and V+ 330), and then adjust the stereo output to add some space to your sound. If you need more control over things like the LFO rate or the amount of the chorus, switch to Advanced mode. To create different chorus effects, play around with the four distinct Chor'X modes. You can mix and match them to get effects that range from smooth and graceful to really wild. When it comes to the True Stereo Dynamic Engine, use it to position your instrument's signals in the stereo image. You can place an instrument in front or farther back in the stereo field. For percussive material, use the Dry tool to keep the transients dry and add chorus only to the tail of the sound. And don't forget about the dynamic modulation feature. You can use it to add automatic changes to the rate and amount of the BB Delay lines for ever - changing chorus effects. As for maintenance, keep your software up - to - date to ensure the best performance. Also, make sure your computer meets the recommended system requirements. If you encounter any issues, check the official XILS support website for troubleshooting guides.
