Get Pianos and Keys to Blend Flawlessly in the Mix
Recording and mixing a piano can be tough, especially in a complex mix. Pianos and other keyboard instruments span a wide range of frequencies and dynamics, making it challenging to find their ideal place in the mix.
Grammy-winning producer and mixer Greg Wells, a professional pianist himself, has packed PianoCentric with all the studio techniques he's mastered over the years. These techniques ensure the piano sounds amazing in any mix.
The main control offers a variety of sounds, from dark and lo-fi to neutral, and then to bright and punchy. Whether your keyboards need to recede or stand out, PianoCentric delivers.
Greg Wells says, 'I wish every studio I've ever worked in had PianoCentric. It has every technique I know to make the piano sound incredible. Turn the knob right for a gorgeous, punchy piano that cuts through any busy mix. Turn it left for an old bullet microphone-like lo-fi and slightly crunchy sound. Enjoy!'.
