Product Detail
VMR enables audio engineers to effortlessly craft their dream channel strips using a library brimming with analog - modeled plugins. Choose from a wide range of modules such as vintage - modeled EQs, compressors, enhancers, filters, preamps, and mixing consoles. Besides getting amazing sound, you'll enjoy increased speed and efficiency as your entire processing chain is neatly organized in one convenient window. VMR 2.0 comes with Mix Bundle One, including four Slate Digital processing modules: FG - 401 Compressor, FG - S EQ, FG - 116 FET Compressor, and FG - N EQ. By default, VMR opens with your custom dream channel strip. You can immediately start mixing with your most - used modules. There are seven default Dream Strips, which you can customize. With just one click, you can change the vibe, color, and sound of your mix and easily undo or redo changes. In the Library Pane, you can view all installed processing modules and drag - and - drop them into the signal chain or reorder them. Cloning an entire signal chain for comparison is a breeze; just press the right arrow. After cloning, you can modify parameters or swap modules on the alternate path. Real - time A/B comparison is available by pressing the A or B button. You can load up to eight modules at once and easily solo or mute them using the Solo and Power buttons. The FG - 401, originally a recreation of a classic British console channel compressor, has evolved with variable attack and release, an input transformer stage from a famous British Class A Console, and a unique opto circuit path, making it highly versatile. The FG - S is a digital version of an '80s British console equalizer with rich harmonics and interactive mid - bands, perfect for any track. The FG - N, a recreation of a '70s classic discrete Class A British equalizer, has an extra mid - band for more versatility. The FG - 116 precisely replicates a classic American FET limiter, offering a musical and fat tone. The Trimmer is useful for RMS and Peak Level Monitoring, Trim control, and Phase Reverse Switch. The Monster emulates the extreme compression sound of vintage FET limiters with added features. Revival is the result of years of research, simplifying the process of making tracks sound better into two knobs.
Using Slate Digital Virtual Mix Rack VMR 3.0 is straightforward. First, when you open VMR, it will start with your custom dream channel strip. For comparing different signal chains, press the right arrow to clone the current one. Then you can change parameters or swap modules on the new path.
