Product Detail

Thanks to Sonible's pure:unmask, achieving clarity in your mix is just a few moments away. This powerful plugin tackles one of the most crucial aspects of mixing: creating space between tracks. With only four main controls and the might of Sonible's AI, it seamlessly blends two competing elements in a mix without any pumping artifacts. It's as clear as a bell and as quick as a flash. Pure Unmask is placed on the channel to be shaped (background) and takes a sidechain input from the channel to be unmasked (prioritized). Once the routing is set up, the plugin analyzes both signals. It uses AI and spectral processing to precisely bring clarity between the two channels without causing any audio issues. You can fine - tune the processing using four controls. The large central Unmasking knob adjusts the overall effect. Resolution determines the width of the spectral processing bands. You'll get visual feedback on foreground and background levels and gain reduction. The Speed control allows you to adjust the attack and release times for level ducking, making it suitable for different musical contexts like slow - harmonic or fast - rhythmic ones. Finally, the Range control limits the unmasking process to a specific low - frequency and high - frequency range.

Using Sonible's pure:unmask is a breeze. First, place the plugin on the channel you want to shape (the background channel). Then, connect a sidechain input from the channel you want to unmask (the prioritized channel). Once the routing is done, the plugin will automatically start analyzing the signals. To adjust the effect, use the four main controls. Turn the Unmasking knob to increase or decrease the overall unmasking effect. Set the Resolution to define the width of the spectral processing bands. Watch the visual feedback to see how the foreground and background levels are changing. If you're working on a slow - paced, harmonic track like a piano and guitar piece, increase the Speed to lengthen the attack and release times. For fast - paced, rhythmic tracks like kick and bass, decrease the Speed. Use the Range control to focus the unmasking within a certain frequency range. As for maintenance, keep your plugin software up - to - date. This ensures it runs smoothly and takes advantage of any new features or bug fixes. Also, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the plugin to avoid any performance issues.
